This is an illustration for the Yau Ma Tei Wholesale fruit market in Hong Kong. The diligence, passion for fruits, and hospitality impressed me. The illustration also aims to present the gestures and quick movements of them under the hot and humid weather. The illustration presents this historical architectures built in 1913. It was classified as the Grade II Historic Building since 2009. The stone brick buildings remind me the history of gangland of the fruit market. The gentle and soft watercolor paint for me represents the humanized side in the fruit market.
